After filming for Skybar (aka Cornwall’s best festival) in 2019, I was thrilled to be asked to return in 2020. Skybar was the first festival I had ever filmed, but despite it being contrasting to the corporate events I was used to, I quickly felt right at home watching the sun set over Watergate Bay with an ice cold beer in hand.
As many of you may already know, I lived permanently in Cornwall for a number of years, but made the move to South Wales almost two years ago to be with my gorgeous girlfriend. I know, I can’t believe it either… but as I say, bloody gorgeous. I’m lucky to still have a residence in Cornwall, where we still vacate when we can!
After an early start, I made the decent from South Wales to Cornwall, camera gear in tow. I was rearing to get started on this new project and naturally, wanted to make a good first impression and smash my first festival gig out of the park!
Almost a year later, I have found my feet in event videography and have since been asked to return and film all seven Skybar festivals in 2020. My Skybar content created a wave through social media and has also led to opportunities at several other festivals in the UK this summer.
I look forward to sharing new content with you this year!
